It’s official now! Well, kind of. Samsung will bring the very first 120Hz display on its Galaxy S20 smartphone. Now you will get the super-smooth display on Samsung as well, although on the higher end.
And by the way, it is possible that Samsung will call the Galaxy S11 Galaxy S20 instead. In fact, this 120Hz display hint comes from the details of the Exynos 990 SoC, which does have the native support for the 120Hz display.
Higher refresh rates have their own benefits. You will smoother experience out of the box, with smooth animations, and all. However, this higher refresh rate can take a toll on your smartphone’s battery.
Well, this is interesting and amazing to be able to see the new Samsung smartphones coming with a 120Hz display starting this year. Also, note, the Galaxy S20 will launch at Samsung Unpacked which will be held on February 11th this year.
