It’s reported that this year’s OnePlus 8 Lite will be unveiled alongside the base and Pro versions, but it looks like the phone may not be as’ Lite’ as we had anticipated, at least when it comes to the camera.
That’s because SlashLeaks spotted an unspecified OnePlus phone during a talk show that OnePlus CEO Pete Lau was a guest where looks set to be the unit.
A box full of phones has been placed on a table, and one of the front phones packs the OnePlus logo, but it does not appear to be a current OnePlus handset, as it has three camera lenses in the top left corner. Interestingly, it does not match an earlier leak as well, which only showed two rear lenses.

In a rectangular configuration, there seems to be an upper-left dual-camera system, of which we have no further knowledge. It has space for an LED flash and what looks like a cutout for better depth-based portrait effects for a potential time-of-flight sensor.
Unlike many other affordable smartphones, the OnePlus 8 Lite doesn’t seem to include a headphone port but comes with a USB-C charging port — it’s also going to be interesting to see if this smartphone could come with Warp Charge or similar superfast charging technology.
