Starting the New Year’s Eve, the registered Galaxy Note 9 users were getting the Android 10 update. But now, even the users having the Android 9 Pie are receiving the update.
The update is about 2.2GB in size, so to make sure you do not run out of your daily data limit, switch to WiFi already. And then head to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. The update will come with the firmware version N960FXXU4DSLB. And as usual, the update is live for users in Germany but will start rolling out in coming all around the world.
The Android 10 update brings the refreshed One UI 2.0 onboard, with several features including the new Gestures system.
And with this update, it becomes the last major update to be received by the Galaxy Note 9. After this, you will only get monthly security updates and no more OS upgrades, as per the policy.
