Galaxy Fold is amazing. Be it is the design, innovation, whatever you consider. However, the most criticized feature of the Galaxy Fold is the folding crease on the display. You may have seen many YouTube videos about the Fold already. But, the next generation, Galaxy Fold 2, might come with an ultra-thin glass after all.
The famous leakster, Ice Universe, tweeted about this already.
Although the use of the ultra-thin glass will eliminate the crease up to an extent, this may also increase the overall production cost of the smartphone on the other hand.
It may also be possible that Samsung might use the plastic coating instead of using the UTG until the UTG goes highly unbreakable when folded. The Galaxy Fold 2 is supposed to be announced along with the Galaxy S11 series in February, next year.
This time, instead of folding horizontally, the phone will fold vertically, thus reducing the size of the smartphone to an extent.
