Xiaomi launched the Mi Band 3i in India, a new fitness band. The latest wearable features an AMOLED touch display, waterproof 5ATM resistance, battery life up to 20 days, call and notification alerts, and the usual step and calorie tracking features. The Mi Band 3i is a diluted variant of the fitness band Mi Band 3 that was launched last year in India. The Mi Band 3i is less expensive than the Mi Band 3, and the Mi Band 3i fitness band allows for heart rate monitoring at a cheaper price point.
The Mi Band 3i sports a 0.78-inch (128×80 pixels) Monochrome White AMOLED screen with a brightness of 300 nits and capacitive touchpad. The band packs a battery of 110mAh Li-polymer that is said to last for up to 20 days. It has a charging method for two pogo pins, and Xiaomi says it takes about 2.5 hours to charge the wearable completely. The Mi Band 3i supports connectivity to Bluetooth v4.2 and is compatible with Android 4.4 and iOS 9.0 and above phones. The strap is listed to be made of TPU material, and the Mi Band 3i is listed to be 5ATM water-resistant certified.
It provides wireless connectivity with Bluetooth v4.2 and pairs with compatible smartphones and tablets through the Mi Fit app. Features include notifications of call and message, idle alerts, reminders of events, and more. Speaking about its fitness-centric features, among other things, it can track activities like biking, running, and walking. The Mi Band 3i also can track sleep and can also provide weather forecasts.
The official handle of Xiaomi India Twitter shared through a tweet the details of the arrival of Mi Band 3i on Flipkart. The Mi Band 3i is priced at Rs. 1,299 and will be available via Flipkart from December 16, but is currently listed on the e-commerce website as ‘Coming Soon.’ Flipkart will also offer 5% free cashback on the credit card of Flipkart Axis Bank, 5% off with Axis Bank
