Samsung is not at all working as per the schedule as they released One UI 2 for the Galaxy M20 and M30 today. The update is currently out in India, and weights around 2GB in size.
We know how Samsung used to be before the Samsung Experience. Since the Android Oreo rollout, Samsung is working hard to satisfy the customers with Android updates.
Do note, the update doesn’t bring all the changes that S-series are getting, on M-series. Because, why note? Then what will be the difference between the M-series and A/S -series?
As per the updated Schedule in India, The Galaxy M20 was supposed to get Android 10 in the month of January. But it seems Samsung is pushing hard for updates now. Similarly, S10-series has also received the official Android 10 with One UI 2 already.
If you own any of the smartphones mentioned and haven’t received the update, do check Settings > Software updates.
