It seems Samsung is moving out of its comfort zone and is going to ditch the 15W chargers for their flagships. A recent report suggests that the upcoming Galaxy S11e 5G will come with a 25W charger out of the box.
Back when S10e and S10 were launched, some did complain that 15W is so outdated. But if we consider their battery size, we can figure out why Samsung has gone with the 15W chargers for these two smartphones.
Both of these smartphones pack battery size below 4,000mAh, which is why you get the 15W charger. But with the Note 10 series, that wasn’t the case anymore. And good news! The first and the cheapest Galaxy S11e 5G variant is going with a 25W charger after all.
The model number SM-G9810, which is obviously the device we are talking of, in China, has received the 5G certification already. And it is obvious because Sammobile already reported that the S11e and S11 will have bigger battery. The S11e might come with a 3,800mAh battery, and on the other hand, the S11 will have a 4,000mAh battery.
The rumors about the S11+ also suggests that the smartphone is going to pack a 5,000mAh battery. So we can consider the fact that it will have more charging speed, out of the whole bunch!
