A few days back, we talked about the render leaks of the upcoming Galaxy A51. This time, there is another leak, that too for the Galaxy A71.
The Galaxy A71, just like the Galaxy A51, will feature a punch-hole display, along with a quad-camera setup at the back. And yes, the camera is going to have some thickness.
Just like the speculations on the A51, this A71 might feature quite a similar feature in terms of CPU, display, and battery. The rumored device might come with Snapdragon 675 SoC, with Adreno 612 GPU. A massive 4,500mAh battery will be present for that extra juice, and also features a USB Type-C, which is completely normal these days. Also, the display is going to remain that massive, that is, a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display.
However, one thing might really change. The RAM, yes, it is supposed to get a base model of 8GB, in contradiction to the 6GB base variants of both A70, and A70s.
Galaxy A71 – A camera downgrade from the previous generation, and a new favorite SoC of Samsung?
And here in the camera department, it can be a bit skeptical. The last galaxy A70s features a 64MP sensor at the back, but this time can it be a downgrade to 48MP, just like A51 may feature? Well, it isn’t clear yet. I hope, Samsung shouldn’t degrade the hardware and should add a 7XX series processor, instead of 675.
And I guess Samsung is really getting fond of the Snapdragon 675, that they might keep using this for at least 3 generations of Galaxy A70 series. Which is quite similar if we look back in the past and consider the forgotten knight of the poor – The Galaxy J-series.
In this series, Samsung mostly used the Exynos 7870 SoC from the last 3 freaking years! Or I guess 2. Ah! I don’t remember! Only the things changed when they used an Exynos 7884 with their first dual-camera smartphone – Galaxy J7 Duo. Never mind this processor to be an Exynos 7885 on GSMArena, these two SoC are similar, with the former one being slightly underclocked. And many more under the hood changes.
Back to Galaxy A71.
The punch-hole will feature a 32MP camera and will come with Android 10 and One UI 2.0/2.5 out on the top.
And, we just ran out of the rumor context again! Until and unless we get more hands-on on the new rumors, all thanks to Android Authority, for making jobs like this easier than it seems!
Oh, and by the way, here is the rendered video.
