BSNL takes on Reliance Jio with ‘6-Paise’ Plan
State-owned telecom operator BSNL has announced that it will give 6 paise cashback to its subscribers for making voice calls. The offer,however is available for BSNL landline, broadband and FTTH customers only. The cashback offer will be available for BSNL landlines, broadband, and FTTH users across the country.
The announcement comes almost a month after that Reliance Jio announced 6 paise per minute, for users for making calls to other telecom operators. The company is taking multiple initiatives to improve customer experience.
Recently, IUC made headlines when Airtel alleged that Reliance Jio has reduced their ring duration from 35 to 40 seconds to 25 seconds to pay lesser IUC. IUC were expected to ended altogether by January 2020 but this plan is now on hold.
