With Snapdragon 855 + SoC, Realme is set to launch a fresh Realme X2 Pro smartphone. Part of the Realme X-series, the X2 Pro was confirmed on the country’s social media platform Weibo by Realme China’s product director Wang Wei Derek. The phone’s codename is Super Samurai, meaning the upcoming device will be Realme X2’s quicker and smoother version.
Realme X2 features a complete HD+ AMOLED 6.4-inch display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixel resolution. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor on display. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz clocked octa-core Snapdragon 730 G processor. It’s running on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie.

The smartphone has a quad camera configuration on the back. This configuration of the rear camera involves a 64 MP Samsung GW1 sensor as the main sensor, an ultra-wide angle lens of 8 MP, a 2 MP depth sensor and a macro lens of 2 MP. The waterdrop notch on the screen on the front houses a selfie camera of 32 MP. Realme X2 has a 4,000 mAh battery that that supports quick charging of 30W VOOC.
A Weibo tipster says that the phone will make its debut in China in October and will launch later in India.
