OnePlus had its event tonight where it announced the OnePlus 7T, OnePlus TV and OnePlus Pay.
This will be the mobile payment option for the company to the likes of Google and Samsung Pay, but as of now, there is little or no data about how this function will operate. OnePlus chose to just tease the function without going into too much detail and said that we should expect it next year at some point.
For instance, when it comes to its OnePlus Pay service, the greatest challenge OnePlus will have is to ensure that there are enough supported banks to make it worth using over Google Pay. Google Pay and Apple Pay both have an enormous list of supported banks, making it simple for customers to use both services. Will OnePlus be able to get enough banks and services on board?
We might see the payment service along with the OnePlus 8 or just before that, there are no news about it now.
