The OnePlus 7T is now finally official. Just like every year, the T series is the mid-cycle refresh device for OnePlus. The OnePlus 7T brings substantial upgrades over its predecessor.
The device now has a 90Hz refresh rate, just like the OnePlus 7 Pro. The display is also now bigger at 6.55 inches and so is the aspect ratio at 20:9.
The waterdrop notch is now 31% smaller, and there’s HDR10+ compatibility as well as a higher peak brightness of 1,000 nits.
Internally, the 7T gets the all-new Snapdragon 855 Plus and support for even faster charging. The cameras have been improved significantly as well.
The primary sensor is still a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, but this time around it gets a faster f/1.6 aperture for better low-light capabilities. The 7T also drops the depth sensor and instead gains a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom capabilities And there’s even a 16MP ultrawide sensor with a 117-degree field-of-view.
The OnePlus 7T is available in 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage options. There’s also a 256 GB India-exclusive variant. The phone will be available for just $599 in the United States from October 18.
