We knew Google is working on a dark mode for Gmail and it’s finally official now. Almost every app now has a dark theme and now even Gmail has it. It’s not truly black, it’s just light grey. So no perks for having an AMOLED display there.
If you have a smartphone that is running Android 10 or iOS 13, the dark mode will turn on when you have set a dark theme for your device, and also during the battery saver mode (on Android). Or you can manually set the dark mode by going to Settings > Theme.
