Realme has finally done it. They are the first brand to bring the industry’s first 64MP based smartphone. That too ahead of Xiaomi, Redmi and Samsung at once. The first smartphone is the Realme XT which features the 64MP camera.
The Realme XT features the 64MP camera with aperture f/1.8 sensor along with 3 other cameras, forming a quad-camera setup. The 64MP camera is a GW1 sensor which is of 0.8-micron size and can pixel bind images and bring images as close as a 16MP 1.8-micron camera images.
The rest of the three cameras feature a 119-angle 8MP wide-angle camera, whereas the other two are 2MP macro camera and the other is a 2MP depth sensor.
Other than that, the device is surprisingly similar to the Realme 5 Pro. The device packs a Snapdragon 712 SoC, 4,000 mAh battery. The Realme XT has storage options between 64GB and 128GB along with RAM options as 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB.
Also, one thing defers here is the display. The XT features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner, whereas the Realme 5 Pro features an LCD panel with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The XT will be available in the second half of September and yet, no pricing details are available.
