Huawei might have revealed another operating system last week. But that hasn’t stopped the company for making updates on Android. At its developer conference, Huawei announced that EMUI 10 based on the top of Android Q Beta will come up as early as next month.
EMUI 10 is based on Android Q. This means that a lot of changes Google has done will come upon Huawei’s version as well. This means we can expect a systemwide dark mode. Huawei’s flagships do have OLED displays which means it will also help save battery.
Huawei also detailed a tool that allows its user to wirelessly mirror the smartphone’s display on a PC or laptop. Huawei is going to release the EMUI 10 update on a lot of its devices. Starting September 10, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will first get the update.
Others phone which will get the update eventually are – the Mate 20/Pro/Porsche Design/Lite, P Smart/+ 2019, P Smart Z, Mate 20 X/5G, P20/Pro, Mate 10/Pro/Porsche Design, Honor 20/Pro/Lite, Honor View 20, Honor 10/Lite, and the Honor 8X.
