Samsung has finally launched its next flagship tablet today. The tab or Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is now finally live, and is, umm, expensive as well. The Tab S6 is the successor to the last Tab S4.
The specifications are pretty good. Since it is a flagship tablet, Samsung has left no stones unturned when designing this tablet. The display here is similar to that of Tab S4, a 10.5-inch AMOLED 2560×1600 resolution. And the rumors being true, this is the first tablet to feature a dual-camera setup.
The dual-camera setup consists of a 13MP primary whereas a 5 MP secondary camera. The front-facing camera features an 8MP sensor which also features facial recognition.
The Galaxy tab S6 also comes with USB Type-C port, which means fast-charging might be present onboard. This is because there is a massive 7,040mAh battery onboard, and there should be the fast-charging capability to charge this massive battery.
And worry no more, since this tab comes with the latest flagship processor, Snapdragon 855 onboard, thus giving you several AI capabilities on camera and throughout the entire tablet.
There are four AKG-tuned speakers, that we have seen in Tab S4 as well, and obviously, an S Pen, which is fortunately free inside the box. There is a rear-mounted groove, which is magnetic and holds the S Pen, and charge it as well. And good thing is, the S Pen will have a similar color as of the device, which is also on the rear-mounting.
And with the trend, the Tab S6 will not feature the headphone jack at all.
Galaxy Tab S6 – price, colors, and variants
There are different colors to choose from: Cloud Blue, Rose Blush, and Mountain Grey. There is a single storage option, that is 256GB whereas there are two different RAM options: 6GB/8GB.
Also, there will be Wi-Fi only and the LTE variant as usual.
However, the price of this tab is a little high. The base variant without keyboard will cost you $650. The keyboard alone will cost you another $180, which will increase the price of the entire device to $830 at once. The device will be available for pre-orders starting August 23rd. The device will be available on retail shops starting September 5th.
