Twitter is finally making a visual overhaul. The new design includes a simpler aesthetic with an overhauled left sidebar, a more traditional look for Direct Messages, improved account switching, two dark themes, and more.
The new UI was out for some users for months now, and finally, it’s rolling out to everyone. The old Profile and Trends sections in the top left is replaced with a totally redesigned sidebar that features large, bold text. It includes: Home, Explore Notifications, Messages, Bookmarks, Lists, Profile, and more.
Also, Search and Trends have moved to the right-hand column of the interface. Here’s how the new interface looks like –
