Reports Say Apple is Developing In-screen TouchID

Popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reports that at least one of the iPhone will have a small notch to make way for the better screen to body ratio. However, it’s still unclear whether all the 2020 iPhones will get this redesign.

Apple will be introducing an entirely new lineup of iPhones in 2020. These include three new OLED models with screen sizes of 6.7-inches, 5.4-inches, and 6.1-inches. Apple might also be working on a fourth iPhone with in-screen TouchID.

This TouchID variant could be the one with a really small notch, as there are no FaceID sensors. Moreover, all three iPhones in 2021 are expected to ditch the FaceID for in-screen TouchID.
