A few days back we heard that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 might not come with the headphone jack. Now a new post from well-known leakster Ice Universe uncovers that the new device might not even have a forehead speaker. Instead, it will use Sound on Display technology to vibrate the display to generate audio. Typically such technique is used to cut cost as it requires fewer parts. But Samsung is not the first company to do so. LG tried similar tactics with their LG G8 ThinQ smartphones. However, in Samsung’s case, they are deeply in need of innovation in their devices as the Galaxy 10 series did not create much hype.
Note 10's "chin" is very narrow, the same level as the iPhone, no speaker grooves on the forehead, which means that the flagship Sound on Display(SoD) technology will replace the traditional speaker. The forehead will be narrower. pic.twitter.com/6aRGQIG0ee
