Today, Meizu announced its 16Xs, a rather odd named smartphone. If you look in the specs, you will get to know that why the device is priced below $300.
The display here is a massive 6.2-inch Samsung’s super AMOLED display panel, with a resolution of 2230x1080p. Also, avery good thing about this device is, it has no notch. Although there is very little bezel; that too for the 16MP camera, it somehow achieves 90.29 screen-to-body ratio.
At the back, you will find the triple camera setup. The main camera is a massive 48MP camera which is a Samsung S5KGM1. An 8MP ultra-wide camera is also present. the last camera is just a 5MP depth sensor.
The processor used here is the Snapdragon 675, currently present on Moto Z4. The device also comes with 6GB RAM by default with storage option as 6GB or 128GB storage, which is enough.
Meizu has also included the 18W fast charging feature called mCharge to charge the massive 4,000mAh battery.
The Meizu 16Xs is available in four different color options: Midnight Black, Atlantis Blue, Coral Orange, and Silk White.
The pricing is somehow is very good. The 6GB/64GB model will be available for $245 (1698 Yuan) and the 6GB/128GB model will be available for $298 or 1,998 Yuan.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the device has some decent specifications on the sheet. We’ll have to wait and see how it performs in the real-life scenarios.
The device pre-orders will begin starting tonight, whereas the will launch on June 10th in China. Later on the device will come to India and several European Countries as well.
