Apple’s WWDC is less than a week away and we are now seeing what will iOS 13 look like. Apple will unveil updates to apps as well. One of the major system wide updates everyone’s waiting for is dark mode.
The new iPhones come with an OLED display. A true black dark mode not only looks dope, it also helps reduce battery usage and increase battery life.
Today, folks at 9to5Mac got some exclusive screenshots of iOS 13. Let’s take a look at them.
Dark Mode in iOS 13
As we mentioned, dark mode is coming with iOS 13. Dark Mode can be enabled in the Settings app or with an option in Control Center, for quick access to the feature. Also, there are chances Apple will include some new wallpapers which will work better with Dark Mode.
In apps such as Apple Music, Apple is using true dark mode which looks awesome in the new OLED displays. Another UI change on iOS 13 is in the interface that appears after taking a screenshot.
Also, the Reminders app is getting a major overhaul and is also coming to the Mac on macOS 10.15. The revamped Reminders app has a large sidebar with separate boxes for “Today”, “Scheduled”, “Flagged” and “All”, which also includes a search box and a collection of a user’s lists of reminders. The app also uses the SF UI Rounded font introduced to iOS with Wallet on iOS 12.2.
The WWDC 2019 Event will start on June 3 at San Jose McEnery Convention Centre.
