Samsung is set to launch the fourth member of the Galaxy M family, the M40 on June 11. The Korean company had released the India-exclusive M series which, according to a Samsung, is made for Millennials.
The Galaxy M40 will feature a Galaxy S10 like Infinity-O display. The phone will be the first one in the series to sport such a display. Also, it will be the first device in the series to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The Snapdragon 675 SoC is paired with the Adreno 612 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone will come with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The device will have triple rear cameras. The device won’t sport an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor but a traditional one instead
The Galaxy M40 will be priced for ₹20,000 . With the release of this phone, Samsung continues to challenge the Chinese budget smartphone manufacturers which are having the majority of share in India.
