After the tragedic fire that burnt the Notre Dame de Paris on April 15th, Ubisoft came up with the free giveaway of the Assassin’s Creed Unity. Why So? So that players can experience how Notre Dame de Paris looked like before the tragedy.
After the tragedy, Notre Dame de Paris has a lot of damage. And to repair the historic cathedral, Ubisoft is also donating €500k for the repairing of the historical monument. The Assassin’s Creed Unity has Notre Dame de Paris standing at its full glory in-game. Though the inside of the building isn’t the same as the original, outer view is complete resembling of the cathedral.
Starting April 17th, Ubisoft is giving away the Standard Edition of the game for free, till April 25th. If you register a copy between these days, you will get the game for free for life. Also, if you purchased the game before the game went free, you will receive an email from Ubisoft about the refund for the game, though you will have the copy for life.
Just head to Assassin’s Creed Unity Page, click on PC since the giveaway is for PC only. Before that create a Uplay account and have the Uplay installed and logged into your PC. Before you download the game, please have more than 60GB of storage space on your HDD/SSD.
