Most of the time, WhatsApp Beta users get the update but don’t even know what’s inside it. In fact, most of us really don’t care. However, WABetaInfo has taken the headache to find out what is actually inside the update. This time they share a pretty nice thing about the latest update.
The v2.19.74 brings an In-App browser on the Android Version. However, it is stu=ill on development stage, so many of you cannot even find it.
The in-App browser doesn’t allow recording or taking screenshots at all. Also, if you get any malicious link open in the in-app, it will indicate it as malicious. This feature is called Safe Browsing, implemented in WebView during Android 8.1.
Please note, the website you visit cannot be checked by Facebook since everything is managed by Android itself.
WhatsApp Beta constantly brings new features with every update. You can follow WABetaInfo here.
