The Poco F1 was arguably the best smartphone at the price range it was offered. In the past few weeks, the rumors of the successor to the Poco F1 had started airing on the Internet for a while. Amidst that rumors, a new device from Xiaomi’s sister-brand PocoPhone has been spotted ok GeekBench.
The Poco F1 Lite has been found on GeekBench with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The device according to the listing runs on Android 9.0 Pie although, the Poco F1 has not received the Pie update as of now, beta tests have been started by the company and if you are one of the Poco users, do expect an update coming your way very soon. Also, the update according to multiple sources is said to be coming with Widevine L1 which has to be the most requested feature.
Folks at Slashleaks were quick enough to spot the listings on GeekBench which showed the F1 Lite. The device seems to be codenamed “Xiaomi Uranus”, however a second listing which was passed by GeekBench seems to be showing Poco F1 Lite, so as of now we are not sure if both are the same products or different. The listings just gave us a glimpse at the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC which is clocked at 1.61 GHz and is said to be coupled with 4GB of RAM. The listings upload date was marked as of March 14.
As of now, there’s no confirmation or special announcement made from the company, so it is better to take these leaks with a pinch of salt. Let us know which one are you more excited about? The Poco F2 or the Poco F1 Lite.
