Microsoft has considerably failed in several fields, like Windows Phone and Smartwatch, like Microsoft Band. They are now shutting the Microsoft Band permanently.
The Band came in the year 2014, with 10 sensors that time including heart rate sensors, and others as well. The Band 2 came out the next year, however, was discontinued in the year 2016. Since then we haven’t seen any replacement or refund policy. However, Now Microsoft is giving the refund for the device.
If you have synced your data between December 1st, 2018 to March 1st, 2019, you are eligible to get the refund. The Band users will receive $79.99 whereas the Band 2 users will receive the amount of $175, which is little lower than the MSRP of the devices.
