Sprint Galaxy Note 9 today received the Android Pie with One UI update. The carrier brings the update to the device with certain apps, which are common with the carrier devices. However, the unlocked device owners, u are the unlucky ones. You will not get the update like Sprint.
Sprint is releasing the firmware version N960USQU1CSAA to its Sprint Galaxy Note 9 device. You can expect a whopping 2GB update if you aren’t using the Pie Updates in Beta. Also, you will get all the features that Samsung mentions in its intro video.
Since Sprint is giving updates to its locked devices, the unlocked devices on Sprint network will have to wait for the update to come. The update will be from Samsung not from Sprint.
Sorry, Unlocked device users, you defied Sprint, so you have to face the consequences!
With Sprint rolling out the update for Sprint Galaxy Note 9, other carriers might also release the update as well.
