One of the best features of Chromebooks is its seamless tethering. However, this awesome feature was restricted to only a bunch of Chromebooks and Google’s own Pixels and Nexus devices. Fortunately, Google is bringing this feature to more devices.
Instant tethering enables you to share your phone’s internet connection with just a single click. Instead of setting up hotspot every time you want to connect your device to the internet, Chromebook will simply create a connection to your phone with a single click. If you’re not using the connection for more than 10 minutes, it’ll also automatically turn off the hotspot feature on the phone, too.
The following list of devices will now support Instant Tethering
