Asus’s Zenfone Max series has done very well since its initial days. The Max Pro M1 was the crowd favorite because of its amazing design, performance and most importantly how aggressively it was priced. A couple of months later, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer launched the successor to the Max Pro M2 which also got the sales boosted. Asus, today, launched a new ‘Titanium Edition’ of the M2 here in India.
The Titanium edition of the Max Pro M2 is kind of identical to the blue variant of the device launched in December last year. The device sports a 6.26inch full-HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 layer on top for extra protection from scratches and drops. The device comes with a notch and a 19:9 aspect ratio.
The Titanium edition of the device is priced at Rs. 12,999 for its base version with 3GB/32GB model and for the 4GB RAM it comes with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. And the top tier of the Max Pro M2 Titanium Edition goes on sale for Rs. 16,999, although, the site shows the device will be available soon and is not listed for sale as of now.
The Max Pro M2 Titanium is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with up to 6GB RAM. As for optics, the device comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary sensor. To the front is a 13MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Max Pro M2 is capable of recording in 4K and is equipped with EIS. The device has support for Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi and VoLTE. To the back just below the cameras is a fingerprint sensor and the main highlight of the device is the whopping 5,000mAh battery which can run a day or two on moderate usage. The device will be available on Flipkart.
