Xiaomi has been launching various accessories around the world and on Thursday, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer launched its Mi SoundBar in India alongside the Mi LED TV 4X Pro 55-inch model and the Mi LED TV 4A Pro 43-inch model. Both the launches were available for the people to watch on Mi.com and Flipkart. The pricing of the above-mentioned devices was also revealed along with the specs and availability.
The Mi SoundBar features two 20mm dome speakers which will cover the high frequency so as to ease in the noise and it is accompanied by the two 2.5inch woofers for low frequency.
The company states that the SoundBar can be set up within 30 seconds which is actually pretty decent. The device also comes with four passive radiators for the extreme low-end. As for connectivity, the Mi SoundBar features a Bluetooth v4.2, Optical, Line-in, S/PDIF, and a 3.5mm aux and according to Xiaomi, the SoundBar connects to any TV. It doesn’t have a good channel separation and would perform far from recommended 5.1 soundbars of today, but it is a budget soundbar that only costs a small fraction of the advanced models in the market
The SoundBar is priced at Rs. 4,999 in India and will be available via Mi.com and Mi Home stores as of now. The device will go on sale starting 12 PM on January 16.
