Nubia Red Magic To Launch in India On 20 December at Rs.30,000

Smartphone gaming is very popular nowadays and with the entry of PUBG Mobile, it has grown even bigger. Now, smartphone manufacturers are aiming at mobile gamers by producing more and more devices such as this one from Nubia, the Red Magic is one such gaming phone which has caught the eyes of many. The Nubia Red Magic is set to make a debut here in India. Nubia not a well-known company in India but with the entry of Red Magic its for sure to turn some heads.

The Red Magic was launched in China a couple of months back. The device comes with a 5.9-inch full-HD+ LTPS TFT display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Red Magic is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC which in my opinion is a let down considering the fact that the 845 was available let alone the 855 which was announced a few weeks ago.

The Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 8GBLPDDR4X RAM along with Adreno 540 is the icing on the cake. It also comes in a 6GB RAM variant with 64GB storage.

As for the camera, the Nubia Red Magic comes with a 24-megapixel camera sensor to the rear with a 0.9micron pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, and support for 4K video recording at 30fps. To the front, the 8-megapixel camera is for smooth selfies and comes with f/2.0 aperture.

The Red Magic comes with some additional features which make it a gaming phone, the air-cooling technology with nine air radiation spots and a dedicated gaming button to let the phone go into gaming mode which disables incoming notifications and calls so that the user is not disturbed. Also, a turbo acceleration mode is present to boost the performance while gaming.

The device sports an RGB LED panel at the back below the camera which holds 16.8 million colors, this design gives it a diamond cut aesthetic at the rear. As for the battery, it packs in a decent sized 3,800mAh battery with NeoPower 3.0 which is Nubia’s fast charging tech.

As for the pricing and availability, nothing is made official yet but the higher variant is set to be priced at Rs. 30,000 whereas the base variant might be available at just Rs. 25,000. The launch will be on December 20, stay tuned to OneTechStop for more updates.
