Samsung’s First Phone with Camera Cutout Hole is up for Pre-Orders!

Samsung has announced its first phone with the Infinity-O display in China. The phone is the Galaxy A8s and is even up for pre-orders. The A8s’ announcement made Samsung the second company ever to announce a phone with the camera cutout in the display, as Huawei did it before with the Nova 4. These two phones are introducing a new design language for mobile phones, If 2018 was the year of notches, 2019 is going to be the year of phones having cutouts in their displays.

The Samsung Galaxy A8s is powered by Snapdragon 710, as we’ve seen in Nokia 8.1 recently launched in India. The phone has an excellent 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2340 x 1080. The device has got 128 GB ROM which is expandable via MicroSD. For the ROM, you get an option of either 6GB or 8GB. A 3,400 mAh battery powers the device.

The Galaxy A8s has a 24 MP primary lens, 10MP telephoto lens, and 5MP depth sensor on the back. You get a 24 MP front camera as well for crisp selfies. You can pre-order the phone in China. We’ll update once we know the availability of this product worldwide.
