Gaming phones are the talk of the town as of now and with the rise of high-end games on handheld devices such as PUBG Mobile, Fortnite and PES 2019, the community wants more. Yesterday, Asus launched its much-awaited ROG gaming smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs. 69,999. One of the first smartphone companies to initiate the gaming smartphone craze, Nubia, plans on launching its Red Magic Mars.
The Nubia Red Magic Mars plans on breaking all records by featuring its device with a 10GB RAM socket which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, rumors have it that the Snapdragon 8150 might be used after its initial announcement this week. The phone features liquid cooling which is mandatory in such a high-end gaming device. Poco F1 and Asus ROG phones also have this feature.
The Nubia phone will have a DTS 7.1 channel along with 3D surround sound for better audio quality. It also consists of RGB LED’s at the back like any other gaming smartphone.
The main highlight of the device other than the 10GB RAM it features is the 4D gaming experience it’ll provide. The device gives haptic feedback for supported games and also comes with touch-sensitive buttons similar to the ROG phone which are very useful while playing action games.
As for the cameras, the Red has one 16MP camera with f/1.8 aperture at the back and an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The device is priced at CNY 2,699 in China for its 6GB/64GB variant and yuan 3,199 for its 8GB/128GB variant. For the 10GB/256GB variant, the device will you around 3,999 Yuan. The device is cheap when compared with the ROG smartphone which is priced a bit higher.
The Nubia Red Magic Mars is available in China only as of now and you can pre-order it on JD.com starting December 7, 2018.
