Mi A2 Pie Upgrade starts rolling out in India

All thanks to Google’s Android One program, Mi A2 Pie Upgrade has started rolling out in India. Only a few devices like Pixel and Nokia devices receive timely updates, however, it’s not the case with Xiaomi device, most of the time.

With Android One program, Mi A2 is the first of all Xiaomi devices to receive the major OS upgrade.

Since the device is the part of Android One, it receives all the features that Stock Android Pie has. For Example, the navigation gestures, that pill shaped navigation bar, and much more.

The update is obviously a heavyweight update. It weighs around 1GB along with which you also get November Security Patch Update bundled together.

However, Xiaomi’s first Android One phone Mi A1 hasn’t received any update, and most probably might not receive till early 2019.

Also, some non-Android One devices have already got the update like Essential Phone, OnePlus 6 and One Plus 6T.

Yesterday itself Samsung started rolling out Android Pie Beta updates along with their new UI – OneUI.
