Android Pie update is coming to many devices recently and OEMs are continually working to push updates to the ones that haven’t. Folks at XDA have a leaked Android Pie beta ROM which indicates that Xiaomi will be rolling out the OTA update shortly. The Mi A2 is the company’s second Android One smartphone. The device is a mid-range one and is well praised over its top-notch performance and camera.
The ROM isn’t final and user reports say that the ROM does have a few bugs, regarding ambient brightness and the system dark theme not working. This is an early beta so there are still a lot of things to fix. We don’t recommend installing this ROM on your primary smartphone. If you are installing this ROM, you would need to use TWRP. You can also use fastboot to flash individual partitions.
You can download the ROM from here.
