It often happens with us that Spotify takes up a lot of memory on our phones and we clear our cache. But at the same time, all our songs are gone and we have to re-download them. Well, Spotify will take care of that for us from now.
As reported by The Verge, the Spotify app on Android and iOS now lets you clear your cache without affecting your downloaded songs.
The update has quietly rolled our over the past few weeks to Android users. Spotify will also now clarify that downloads aren’t being deleted when you delete your cache, which could provide additional peace of mind.
The new feature is available in the latest version of the Android and iOS apps. For users of either version, they should see the option after heading into Settings > Storage.
