The Chinese manufacturers have a strong base in the online portal of devices. So, [the] company wants to compete there as well. To compete with the online competition, Samsung launched On-series, which is exclusively available for online purchase. However, most of these devices are just a rebrand of some popular smartphones. This time also the same is happening.
A rebrand of which Samsung device?
Online exclusive series, On-series is the rebrand version of J-series. For example – On7 Prime is the rebranded version of J7 prime2, both with same specifications. With little bit changes, option for higher memory it is an On-series device.
After the launch of J6, J8, A6, and A6 plus, the Korean based firm has decided to bring one of them to On-series. It is reportedly said, that it will sport an Infinity display. However J8 is not out yet, but the firm is saying it will launch on June 28. Yes, the upcoming On-series will have an infinity display.

Pricing? Since Galaxy J6 2018 with 3G/32GB of price ₹13,990 and 4GB/64GB for ₹16,990 are there, pricing may be quite similar. But can it beat the ongoing competition? Other smartphone brands are giving much more than Samsung in this price range – sensors to be specific with a better processor, RAM, and Display. Although the display is mostly IPS LCD, which is not near to Samsung’s sAMOLED screen, at least it is FHD+ or FHD.
Samsung made a complete disaster in J and A-series by launching J6 and A6. Why the hatred for them? This is because they got almost similar specs. J6 and A6 are equipped with Exynos 7870. Whereas, A6+ has a Snapdragon 450! like seriously Samsung? S450 in 20k range? you should have at least given S625or S630 in this range, that would define the price, but no. And to the display! of Super AMOLED, but 720p that too at the 20k range?
