Netflix Universal App for Windows 10 now supports Picture in Picture mode

Netflix has released a new update for their UWP app for Windows 10. The new update adds Picture in Picture functionality in the app.

The update bumps up the version to version 6.59.265.0 and includes the following changes:

  • Support for Picture-in-Picture (PIP): You can now choose to view your Netflix videos in a small customizable window (PIP), continuing to work or perform other activities.

With PIP mode you can keep Netflix window open and work on other windows.  In PIP mode Netflix app windows won’t go into the background when it loses focus.
