Samsung’s most confusing smartphone lineup is their J -series. It has too many devices in different branches and sub-branches that it’s hard to maintain a list. Now a device with model number SM-J720F is going through FCC, hinting a launch event nearing. Sam-Mobile confirmed with their sources that the device is aimed at Southeast Asia, Middle East, and North African market. The same model is also seen in GFXBench and Geekbench’s website, giving us ideas about the specification but then again, the specification could be faked. In the meantime, Samsung has applied for trademark applications for the ‘Galaxy J7 Crown’ and ‘Galaxy J3 Orbit’ at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). While J3 Orbit might be for the carrier variants of J3, J7 Crown might be our new mysterious device.
