A few days back only we reported that Verizon has started rolling our Oreo update for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. Samsung finished beta testing Galaxy S8 and S8+ back in January and now carriers are rolling the update out.
Oreo brings in support for Picture in Picture (PiP) mode, app notification dots, autofilling and more. However, Samsung is also including the Samsung Experience 9.0 which comes default with this year’s flagship, Galaxy S9, and S9 Plus. The Samsung Experience 9.0 brings some nifty features like Color Lens that can change the temperature of the display to provide better reading experiences and more.
Firmware version G950USQU2CRB9 and G955USQU2CRB9 are now available for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ respectively and the update has a size of 1.5 GB. If you are using Galaxy S8 on T-Mobile then go to software update menu in the Settings app to download it.
