Google is bringing the ability to send money directly from the contacts app

Google has been bringing major changes to their digital wallet systems. First, they changed the name from Android Pay to Google pay and then changed Google wallet to Google Pay Send. A few months back in November, they added the capability to send money from the Messages app via Google Wallet. Now a new report shows that Google added a send icon inside the contacts page in their contacts app. Google’s server-side update activated it and the UI is the same found in Android messages. The update does not seem to be available on any other devices even if the app is in the same version on both the devices. It suggests that Google is still considering this feature and plan to rolling it out.
