HMD has really been trying to get our nostalgia going lately with their release of the revamped Nokia 3310 around this time last year. This time, HMD is taking us back into the Matrix with the Nokia 8110 Reloaded. This phone will be a flashback to those who loved Nokia’s older devices sporting a 2.4 inch display, a Snapdragon 205, 512MB of Ram, 4gb of storage, and a hefty 25 days of standby time. The device also comes with an LTE single sim and dual sim version depending on the region you are in. This phone also has a 2mp camera and the Future OS which means you’ll be able to post to social media in style with your new “banana phone”
The Nokia 8110 was a huge hit because of 2001’s “The Matrix”, it was the device used by the protagonist of the movie, Neo, played by Keanu Reeves. This movie was a cultural phenomenon back in the early 2000’s giving people a new idea of just how much we can do with technology and what it might be capable of.
The Nokia 8110 Reloaded will be on sale for 79 Euros ($97). Let us know if you pick up one of these classics.
