This year, we are seeing a huge flood of devices with 18:9 displays, commonly known as the edge to edge or fullscreen displays. According to Evan Blass, Sony is going enter the market with redesigned Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact during the MWC 2018.
The Xperia XZ2 has a 5.7-inch display with a 3D glass on both the side of the device. While the smaller XZ2 Compact sports a 5-inch display and covered by the non-scratch polycarbonate finish.
As expected, both the device will contain snapdragon 845 to power them with Android 8.0 Oreo. However, both the device will have different battery power. 3180 mAh for the XZ2 and 2870 mAh for the compact edition. The fingerprint scanner is at the back while S-Force stereo speakers are on the front side of the phones.
Both will have the same 19 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. that has enough juice to record 4K HRD videos and super slow motion videos at 1080p resolution.
