During the CES 2018, we reported about Alcatel preparing to release three new Android smartphones last in this year. They are aiming at the budget market with 18:9 display and low price. Now their official Twitter account has announced three new global line up of smartphones.
Alcatel 1 series will be a sub-$200 entry-level smartphone. 1X a fingerprint scanner at the back and low-resolution display.
Alcatel 3 series is aimed at the mid-tier market with a price just above $200. 3V will have a huge 6-inch display with a resolution of 21660×1080, quad-core MediaTek chip, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB Internal Memory. Besides the obvious fingerprint scanner, it will have a dual camera of 16+2 MP at the back.
Alcatel 5 series is marketed as budget flagship and will be around for $300. 5 will have a 5.7-inch IPS Display with a resolution of 1440×720, octa-core MediaTek chip, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB Internal Memory. At the back, lies a fingerprint scanner with a 12 MP sensor.
