A few weeks back, LG’s CEO Cho Seong-jin had announced the company’s plan to discard the old system of releasing new phones periodically. Now they will announce new variants of old phones when there’s a need. Now Etnews reports that LG is preparing to show off a new variant of LG V30 at MWC 2018.
The device will cost around 100 million won which is $918, dropping it in the market range of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Apple iPhone X. Design and most of the specifications are going to be the same. However, the storage will get a bump to 256GB from 64GB and LG lens will be added to the device. LG lens is supposed to give the users the ability to search for items and directions with the AI based camera. You will be able to see directions to a destination in AR and also get live translations of foreign language with the camera.
