Microsoft recently shut down its music streaming service Groove in favor of Spotify. As a replacement, Spotify’s app was recommended to users. Spotify utilizing this opportunity perfectly released their UWP app and they’re continuously updating it to make it feature rich for Windows 10.
The latest update adds live tile support for the UWP app. However, it doesn’t show live status or the currently playing songs, only the weekly Spotify featured playlists. The live tile is limited to UWP app and won’t work with the desktop app available at their website.
