Not only did Google announce a cheap Home device, but they also announced Home Max, a $400 device. While Google claims the device is 20X more powerful than the last year’s standard Google Home, the most important feature of the device is its Smart Sound technology that adjusts volumes and presets based on the room size and audio level. Two 4.50-inch woofers, far-field microphones alongside Google Assistant is enough to run the system. Chalk and Charcoal are the only two colors available. It will be hitting the market this December for $399, for now, the US only. However, Google is throwing one year of YouTube Red subscription with every purchased.
