A few months back Amazon released Echo Dot, a cheaper device to their Echo line-up. It performed all the things its elder brothers could. Following the trend, Google has today unveiled Home Mini, an Amazon Echo Dot like device for their Home line-up. Google’s standard Home with Assistant costs $129 while new puck shaped home mini costs only $49 keeping all the software capability and most of the hardware capability. There is four LED on the top of the device that indicated when Assistant is listening to you or thinking something.
Basically mini is a home with smaller and weaker speakers. It will come in Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral color. Pre-order starts from today. However, the device has no 3.5 jack while the Dot has, thus you cant connect it to a bigger speaker.
