WhatsApp has now released the colorful text status for all of its beta users in the lastest update. The update was server side, however you still need the latest beta app to use the feature.
Colorful text status will let you add text on colorful background, just like Facebook. Right now you can add emoji, change background color and text font. There’s no option to set text size or color, but it maybe added in future.
The image above show’s status text editing screen. You can access it by tapping the pencil icon, and send it by pressing the arrow icon.
To be able to use this feature you need WhatsApp Beta version 2.17.291 installed. You can donwload theWhatsApp from below:
