Following the same suit as Xiaomi, Motorola is about to open up several new offline stores to boost the sales of Moto devices. Stores will be set up in 6 cities at the beginning and will be expanded to other cities later this year.
Online shopping may be dominating the electronic market right now, but in India offline store shopping still, holds a high place in people’s mind. To penetrate the offline market, Motorola is now going to set up outlet stores, that will exclusively sell Motorola phones and accessories.These stores will offer free accessories on the purchase of any device from Moto E, C or G range, and 50% discount on Moto Mods on the purchase of Moto Z2 Play.
Following six cities will be the first to have Moto hub stores:
- Great India Place, Noida
- Logix Mall, Noida
- Shipra Mall, Indirapuram
- Xperia Mall, Dombivali, Mumbai
- Korum Mall, Thane, Mumbai
- Viviana Mall, Thane, Mumbai
The majority of cities above lie in Mumbai or Delhi NCR, places with a significant amount of potential customers. However, Motorola has planned to open up 50 more stores by the end of this year in other major cities.
